Video marketing has become a must-have for businesses large and small. Videos engage with more people on social media than image and text posts combined and 88% of users spend more time on a website if it has a video. But how can the small business owner with little (or no) budget take advantage of video marketing? In this session you’ll learn just how easy and inexpensive it is to create your own video, what equipment you need, how to get the right visual and sound, important tips and tricks for how to capture engaging video and how to tell a story with your video. Whether you’re a one-person business or have a marketing department, you will learn key takeaways you can quickly implement to grow your marketing strategy.

Andrew Fefer is the Social Media and Video Production Specialist for Group Health Cooperative of Eau Claire. Previously, he worked in local television newsrooms for more than 16 years. He has held news director, anchor, reporter producer and videographer/editor positions at stations in Eau Claire, Green Bay and Wausau. At The Cooperative, he was the catalyst for the organization’s first in-house video production effort. In less than 17 months, he has shot/edited/produced more than 100 marketing videos. You can find his work through The Cooperative’s Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube pages. Andrew received his bachelor’s degree from UW-Milwaukee in Broadcast Journalism. He is originally from Milwaukee, and lives in Eau Claire with his wife, Deanne, and son, Carson.
