Are you seeing sales decline or jobs get put on hold? Do you have financial concerns for your business? We’re bringing together a few of our members from the financial industry to help answer your questions and provide you some information and resources. Join us for a Zoom ‘Lunch and Learn’ conversation with Eric Winkler, CPA with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP; Dan Schwaegel, Financial Advisor with Edward Jones; and Justin Harings, VP of Commercial Banking with CCFBank. Bring your lunch to your desk and connect with other CVHBA members in this new virtual ‘meet-up’ option. Eric will discuss the economic and tax relief options the CARES Act will be providing. Dan will cover the highlights of the CARES act and how that impacts investments and retirement accounts. Justin will cover how to talk to your bank if you need loan payment relief related to COVID-19 and an overview of other assistance options available. There will also be time available at the end for questions and to allow you to connect with other CVHBA members. JOIN US and VOLUNTEER! for a Chippewa Valley Home Builders - Community Service Project, 'Sound the Alarm & Save a Life.' This event is hosted by the Red Cross with a goal of installing 300 FREE smoke alarms in the city of Eau Claire and Altoona, all in a single day! In order to accomplish this lofty goal, the Red Cross needs our help. We are putting together Installation volunteer teams with the day being broken into 2 different shifts: The first shift is from 12:00pm - 4:30pm and the second shift is from 4:00pm - 7:00pm. The Red Cross will supply materials, training, tools, installation location maps and food.

In addition, if you or someone you know is in need of a smoke alarm, have them visit Get a Smoke Alarm to get registered. On April 24th, a team of volunteers will visit the residence and install up to three, ten-year lithium battery smoke alarms.
