Join us March 3rd for our 2022 Contractor Conference. Come spend the day with us and earn 6 CEU credits. This year learning will be in person or via Zoom. In person is limited to 40 people. There is no cost for CVHBA members and the cost for Non-CVHBA members is $100. Donuts, snacks and lunch will be provided. The registration deadline is February 28th.

In this session you will learn about building codes and common violations. You will also learn about the new energy codes and expectations. Learn what to expect in the near future. Bring your code book and your hard questions regarding code compliance.

Smart Home Technology

In this session you will learn about emerging smart home technology and how to incorporate it into your projects with the correct knowledge, awareness, and options available to them. We will cover the importance of networking (everything starts with networking), and an overview of Smart Home Automation. We will also cover the costs and bundles of the most common products.

Building Science & Air Tightness

In this session you will learn the basic principals of residential new construction building science, with an emphasis on thermodynamics and air sealing technology. You will learn how air and heat move through a home, the importance of whole house and spot ventilation and air tightness techniques and practices.

Transforming Aging in Place to Aging with Grace
Tracy Bench, NCS Corporation

This course will discuss the dangers of the typical home of aging people or those with mobility or other challenges. You will learn solutions to safety and accessibility issues, based on both the 7 Principals of Universal Design, as well as ADA standards. This course also demonstrates to architects the benefits of creating a home that is safe and accessible for people of all generations. You will learn the value of creating living spaces for all, ADA compliance and standards, as well as kitchen and bath products for aging with grace needs.
